Northwest Arkansas Naturals Fundraising Information
· Only an approximate amount of tickets is initially needed to reserve your seats to the game. As the fundraising orders come in and you have a more accurate number of the people attending, that number can be adjusted (minimum of 100 tickets.)
· A 25% deposit is due within two weeks to permanently reserve the date of your outing.
· Tickets will not be printed until paid in full.
· The entire group will sit together for a fun night of baseball. A scoreboard message will welcome your group to the game.
· Please keep your Group Sales Representative informed of any special requests (i.e. handicap seating).
· Your group representative can create an order sheet for the members of your organization to make it easier for them to sell tickets to the game. Please ask them for flyers as well, if needed.
· For 100-199 tickets purchased, each ticket is $5. If over 200 tickets are purchased, ALL of the tickets will only be $4 each. Face value for all tickets is $8. We want you to raise as much money as possible. There is no limit to the amount of tickets you can buy at the $4 rate.
· Please supply your group representative a minimum of one week before the game with final payment and a final count. It is highly recommended that this is done earlier so tickets can be distributed to your group.
· Everyone needs a ticket to the game to enter the stadium.
· For logistic reasons, it is highly recommended that all tickets are distributed to each person before the date of the game. If needed, the Naturals can set up a table outside the box office for the organization to staff to hand out any remaining tickets to buyers within their group.
· Once the fundraiser is paid in full and the tickets are printed, there are no refunds or exchanges.
· If additional tickets are needed for the fundraiser after final payment and numbers are given, please check with your Naturals Group Sales Representative immediately to confirm ticket availability. Any additional tickets are based upon availability.
· We are not responsible for the distribution of group tickets. The fundraiser contact/leader is responsible for making sure that each member of the group receives the correct number of tickets prior to entering Arvest Ballpark.
· The 20 undated tickets (4 tickets to the top 5 sellers) and the autographed baseball will be given to you the day of the game by your Group Sales representative
· Gates open one hour prior to the start of the game.
· Kids 3 and under are free if they want to sit on a parent’s lap. If they want an actual seat, they would need a ticket.
Helpful hints from groups that have been able to raise the most amount of money:
1. Use the electronic version of the order form to email to as many supporters as you know (friends, family, co-workers, donors, supporters, etc)
2. Use hard copies of the flyer and order form to distribute and post at school, work, around the community, web site, etc.
3. Create a Facebook event to publicize the event and how to purchase tickets. Stress that tickets must be bought in advance through the group in order for the organization to benefit from each ticket sold. Make sure that people are aware of deadlines.
4. Inform your supporters why you need to raise the money. What will the money go towards? Supporters are more likely to purchase tickets if they know their money is going to good use.
5. Remind supporters of the special prizes that the top sellers receive: On-Field experiences, autographed baseball, etc. Make it a contest to see who can sell the most. Encourage people to sell to co-workers, neighbors, fellow members of their congregation, family members, etc. For school groups and other youth organizations, have the kids encourage their parents to bring the order form to work.
6. Schedule a free mascot appearance at an event hosted by the organization to promote the fundraiser. Strike is always a big hit everywhere he goes. In addition, a Naturals representative is always more than willing to speak at an event such as a booster club or board meeting in advance to promote the upcoming fundraising evening.
