Catcher's Clinic

This clinic is open to all players ages 10 and up.

What to expect:

Physical instruction will include setup/stances, pre-pitch hand movement, receiving, blocking, picks, transfer, throwing footwork, throwing mechanics, tag plays at the plate, double-play footwork, and pop ups. All drills and instruction will be taught in a way to show how each skill applies to catching in a game. Players will also be taught conditioning drills specific to the needs of catchers by a sport specific strength coach.

 

Ronnie encourages Q&A during all sessions, and sets aside time at the end of the clinic for Q&A from parents and players. He will also provide information on searching for a college and contacts for parents of high school aged players.

Special prizes will be awarded to three players at each camp.
